All is Calm The Christmas Truce of 1914
December 20 & 21

All is Calm : The Christmas Truce of 1914 is being performed by Franklin Theatre Works at South Hunterdon. It is a musical evening recounting the events of Christmas Eve and Day in 1914 when both the German and Allied soldiers decided to call a cease-fire and celebrate Christmas together sharing what little they had with song and fraternity. These men did what the Pope could not do and what the commanders would not do. All is Calm is a tribute to and a celebration of our common humanity. This work is funded in part by the Hunterdon County Board of Chosen Freeholders. Verizon is sponsoring the “Free Tickets to Veterans” program reserving seats at each performance for vets free of charge. Franklin Theatre Works is also running a Gift for a Veteran Drive at the show. Bring a gift and receive a ticket voucher to their next production.
